Wifi stops working. Started after update

Briefly describe your issue below:
After last update, like 3 days ago. The wifi randomly stops working. The applet shows connection to correct network. But, no data.
Tried restarting Network-manager.
sudo service network-manager restart,
and
sudo systemctl restart networking
neither work. Network manager then does not show any networks to hook up with.

Rebooting solves the problem and then it stops again. Sometimes quickly, sometimes after sleep, but wondering why I have the problem in the first place.

Tried “nm-applet”? Also are you trying to connect to a hidden network?

Not sure what was going on, but, no I was not trying to connect to a hidden network. I did wipe out old kernels and cleaned up my install a bit. And it seems to have faded.
