Wlan0 dev Changes To String Problem

Using airmon-ng I have a USB network adapter. When plugging it in it gives it this long string for a name. I’ve managed to change the name itself to wlan1.

The issue is whenever I stop airmon-ng it reverts it back to this long string. Is there any way to fix that?
