Changing the main screen with terminal.

My screen is broken on my laptop. I use an external monitor. I just did a new parrot install. The main screen is set to be my broken laptop screen. I can't do very much, but I can open a terminal on this screen. How do I change the main screen to this external screen using the terminal? Is there another way to do it?

If you are lucky you have the FN+DISPLAY buttons that would hardware redirect the signal to external monitor.

Yes, use xrandr:

$ xrandr --listmonitors
$ xrandr --output <HDMI output of choice>
