Error Msg on Parrot 4.12 USB w/'Encrypted Persistence' Upgrade

Hi, all:

New to Parrot, but not Linux itself.

Here's what I did: I installed Parrot 4.12 w/Encrypted Persistence' on  a USB drive and it booted fine.

I did "sudo apt-get update" with no issues

Then, I ran "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" and it seemed to run the upgrade, but at the very end, I got this error msg in the terminal window:

"Unable to find an initial ram disk that I know how to handle.
Will not try to make an initrd.
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel"

Q#1: How bad is this?

Q#2: is there any fix I can run?

Many thanks in advance,

Mikey

Thanks,
Mikey
