Re: hacking

Python

Parrot has all the things you need to run it as the only operating system at your PC.

If not then you can install almost everything.

Re: hacking

For malware and trojans you will like to go for C or C++

Re: hacking

From my perspective the best depends upon your desired objective and experience. Most programming languages require some learning curve.
However, as many would advocate including myself I would recommend Python  as a initiation programming language. For an easier option to python it would be Ruby.

however the choice depends upon your desired project goal.

Python is the best for just about anything you need to do.

Re: hacking

Python is very flexible and easy to write and read, can be very useful when you want to write scripts fast,

As for more technical programming, mostly for making tools (or even Python libraries) I'd suggest C which gives you more low-level control over everything. And C is the basic language for everything.

If you're into reading, I'd suggest Violent Python, Python forensics, Black Hat Python and Gray Hat Python to learn Python (obviously)
and "Hacking, the art of exploitation" for C, as well "The C programming language" for C basics.

Re: hacking

Python, as a new programmer my self, I started learning Linux and Python at the same time. They go hand in hand. its been about 4 months, I have a decently large CLI calculator (around 350) lines of code. And a handful of random hacking tools. Keyloggers, a password cracker, a brute force program. All from reading, a few classes from Udemy, Youtube videos, Nullbyte, and examining other peoples code. Of course Bash Scripting is good too. Automating random tasks. Write a Bash script that updates your system. If you are using aircrack, write a Script that puts your wireless card into moniter mode, and kills all PID's that will interfere when scanning. Then write a script that continually authenticates a certain BSSID so you can get the 4 way. Not that I am pro or anything. Those are just the first things I did.
