wordlist

Hello everybody,

I was wondering which wordlist everybody is using and why?
The internet is full of all kind of password lists and i don't know of parrot-sec os is coming with thes kind of lists.

Parrot has all the things you need to run it as the only operating system at your PC.

If not then you can install almost everything.

parrot comes with some pre-installed wordlists

check /usr/share/wordlists/

Here is mine its 13g and its huge and it will take you 45 minutes to an hour to extract it.

Although there are indeed wordlists on the net and within Parrot i tend to create my own if I want to test something specific. Especially when I know a certain passwords length or characters I know being used.

Learn how to use Crunch and you can be even more effective in cracking stuff.


Encourage and teach others to be better at Linux stuff. Don't talk 'em down but help them. We are all in the same boat.

I use Crunch as it is defo a great tool but generating password combos for WPA2 and I will need several petabytes for every type of possible combination lol any ideas where I can get that sort of storage space?

You only need to type "hacking wordlist" in a search engine and get hundreds of Wordlists. Results from 30kb to 53GB ... everything!

crunch 8 8 0123456789 -o numeric8.txt

crunch 8 8 0123456789abcdef -o hex8.txt

use this two dicts first bro. but wps attack better then 4-way-hadshake
