I have downloaded the latest driver and plugged in my wifi adapter as per quick start guides instructions. lsusb outputs Bus 001 Device 006: ID : MediaTek Inc. MT7612U 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wireless Adapter. I am not sure what else I need to do to get it running.
MediaTek are a known problem in Linux, Kernel drivers have been around for a couple of years, BUT do not always work, check the list in this article
I appreciate the reply,but I still am unsure where to go from here. Do I download drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/mt76x2/[usb.c](https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/mt76x2/usb.c and if so how do I go about doing that? I apologize, I am just unfamiliar with updating drivers I guess.
