Almost all of the KDE Applications menu disappeared

I haven’t got a clue when, but at some point recently a large swath of my Applications menu vanished from the X “start menu”. Most specifically, all of Pentesting has been reduced to a Metasploit item, a veil item and two others, limited to Exploitation and Maintaining Access > AV (so not wiping everything, not wiping everything but a single category, nothing that seemed straightforward like that).
The actual app packages are still installed. Airgeddon, as a random example, is still perfectly functional and in-place. But as I still hadn’t even bothered figuring out how to manually change the menu lists, I’m really frowning at the idea of having to locate and populate everything one-by-one again.

Any idea why? Better still, easiest fix?
