Can somebody help me with something? How do I automatically mount storage?
there are 2 automount blocks that you have to remove
kernel/grub level:
edit /etc/default/grub and /etc/default/grub.d/* and remove all the “noautomount” options
once you removed them, run sudo update-grub
interface level
the MATE desktop environment has an automount switch.
i don’t personally remember how to reach it from the mate settings, but you can open the dconf-editor application, use the search option and manually change all the automount occurrences directly in the dconf database
