Awus036achm , OS Freeze on testing injection with aireplay-ng

Hi , i just bought a new alfa awus036achm , the wifi enters in monitor mode , but the OS crashes if i test the injection mode on that card , ex : (aireplay-ng -9 wlan0mon ) , after i insert this command the OS freezes and there is no other way to get out of this expect an reset , i tried to look into dmesg for issues , but i could not found anything , my guess is that the system does not even have time to write the issue in the log file :smiley: , My parrot OS is the latest one , 64bit .
Does anyone else have this issue or tried this with this output behavior ?

Last note : Could this happen because this card also have 5G and airmon is not prepared to deal with injection tests at 5Ghz ?
One of my doubts is that if this is a driver error or an aircrack-ng package code not prepared to deal with 5Ghz wifi , however what it makes me more curious is the system freeze , witch only a driver and a kernel panic is able to get that effect on an OS , specially linux .

Thank you

You haven’t told it what you want to test it with… its an incomplete command

Have a look at this page to see what you should be including;

never crossed my mind that , the reason is that in rtl8187 and ralink 2800 it was not needed , and it is still not needed in the current repository distribution on parrot . Thanks for the tip
