After logging out as a user, I am prompted to a black screen that has no visual output. The laptop is still on and keyboard responds when I press keys, but can see nothing but a blank black screen. My current solution to this is to force shut my laptop off and then power on to be able to switch users/environments. This began after I updated to the 5.16 kernel. I’ve tried TTY but no luck, just black screen. Also to note if it helps, when I press the power button to shut off, it displays the parrot wallpaper before actually turning off which makes me think maybe is has something to with killing the X session or something with the login window? Any tips or suggestions would help!
