Boot USB not found in Disk Managers

Hi everyone! I am a newcomer to Parrot OS and, as such, made a bootable USB pen drive using Etcher on Windows. I used the latest Parrot Security Edition ISO and everything booted up fine and dandy. However, when trying to install Parrot OS and/or trying to create a live partition using mkusb DUS, my USB doesn’t show up, only my other disk drives.
How can I fix this? I have already wiped my pen drive and returned it to a single NFTS full partition. How can I make Parrot OS detect the boot USB so I can properly install it and create the persistent partition?
