Booting to the grub command line instead of the gui

Whenever I try to boot the installation media grub goes to a command line instead of the install GUI shown in the documentation. I am using the Parrot security edition 5.3 and am booting it via the BIOS. This is what I see:

If there isn’t a way to fix this, then how can I boot the setup OS and ensure that this doesn’t happen again?

You could boot it from the prompt…

If you just want to create a working installer stick,how did you create the boot media?
