About a year or so ago, Firefox on my parrot OS installation started failing to launch. Now I am trying to come back and address it due to losing access to my metamask wallet.
When trying to launch firefox from the command line I get the error below:
- Logs/Terminal output (use pastebin or similar services):
firefox: error while loading shared libraries: libatomic.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have already tried installing libatomic.so.1 from the repositories as so many other search results suggest. This did not do anything for me unfortunately. As I write this I am letting “apt-get upgrade” run now to see if that does anything. I would appreciate any suggestions or assistance here.
