When running “gnome-software” the Explore tab shows “No Application Data Found” instead of a list of software. Other posts in the community from a year ago indicate that GNOME Software is not supported on Parrot OS. Is this still the case? If so, it would be great if gnome-software could be removed, but doing so triggers a long set of dependency problems due to its inclusion in the gnome-core and parrot-desktop-gnome packages:
$sudo apt purge gnome-software
…
The following packages will be REMOVED:
gnome-core* gnome-software* parrot-desktop-gnome*
I can just ignore gnome-software, but if there is a way to fix or remove it that would be even better.
