Help installing amarok on parrot linux

I tried installing using command sudo apt-get install amarok, but got the below error:
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
Package amarok is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package ‘amarok’ has no installation candidate

I tried upgrading and updating, i even used apt-cache search amarok, but couldnt find amarok.

Say this to aptitude or
Download deb file of your package and install it via
dpkg -i (downloaded deb file)

And if want from repo
Update your repo

Thanks, for your response. I was able to install the amarok, but i still cant find the launcher among my applications or launch it from terminal.

how did you install it? If you followed the previously offered suggestion youd have .deb file which can easily be run through gdebi installer…did you get the actual application or just a library/data/common file? better question if you need it as a dependency which do you need? (you’ll have to answer that yourself obviously)
