How can I install a package to my persistent storage?

I have a USB running Parrot in live boot. I have created an encrypted persistent storage partition. I want to install some extra packages but dont want to have to rely on an internet connection to pull them each time I boot. How can I install to my persistant storage?

This is something I’d really like to know too. It would be helpful to know if programs can be installed on a persistent usb.

After going through some searches, I think I have found the solution.

You need to increase the size of the root partition, maybe an extra 2GB. Of course you will need to reduce the size of the persistent partition. I don’t know if that will cause any problems, haven’t had a chance to test it.
