How to install an application using ppa in parrot os?

I recently tried to install brackets in parrot os. Every time I run below command on terminal, an error is thrown.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/brackets

Anybody have any idea please share. I added a screenshot of the error.

As the PPA enables anyone to host and distribute any software to anyone, obviously there could be a risk of reliability. It is important to keep in mind that a PPA can be harmful if it comes from untrusted sources.

Thus it is Not Recommended on Privacy Focused Distributions.
Example : Kali Linux

Add repository that way is strongly not suggested as Parrot is a rolling distribution

Okay no problem. I installed atom text editor and currently use VIM.

i cant find a visual basic programming package that is preinstalled.any ideas?

well if you meant vscode, it is not available, you can install by downloading from the official website
replacement of that is vscodium which is exactly same as vscode

how do i break down the ones that don’t have dependencies …?
