How to route Tor over internal network like Whonix?

I have tried VPN on a Parrot OS running on VirtualBox using Internal Network adapter shared to another Guest OS, and succeeded.
However when I later turned off VPN and connect to AnonSurf Tor network, set wired connection 2 which is the internal proxy adapter( shared to other computers) via proxy url 127.0.0.1:9150 and 10.0.0.1:9150, neither worked.
Can AnonSurf force all of the system’s traffic routed via Tor like Whonix Gateway and Tails? Or can AnonSurf function as a regular VPN?

Check the VPN settings, many are set to disable connections that are not routing throug the VPN by default…
sounds like a config issue
