Hi, after apt update I have got one upgradable package, but I can’t upgrade it. I was also trying to do apt parrot-upgrade, which ended up with error as you can see on screenshot bellow. I am using Parrot sec 5.3.

  • ParrotOS iso in use:

  • Application used for flashing the iso:

  • Logs/Terminal output (use pastebin or similar services):

  • Screenshots:

sudo parrot-upgrade
NOT sudo APT parrot-upgrade

I run the command ‘sudo parrot-upgrade’, but I’ve got en error message: “… command not found”.

It works after reinstalation of Parrot OS now, something was broken. I need to read the documentation more often.

no, he is right it’s sudo apt upgrade and even without the - what version do you use?

try : sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
I hope it works out.

Since I need approval after questioning the dev team about the integrity and trust even with hash check signature ok after new re install and same vulnerabilties that escalate privilige and no information or announcement even by pushing an upgrade that or has broken tools at Lory version or if you keep ARA is unsafe I will add it here
