Infinite Login Loop after apt-upgrade

I did a apt-upgrade and then restarted the pc. When trying to login the screen goes black and then the login screen appears again. I cant open the command line with ctrl+alt+f1 and also when trying to go into recovery mode to get a root shell, i am not even getting the selection menu for this. Has any one got and idea whats wrong? Honestly i would just like to save my personal data to a usb drive and just reinstall parrot itself, but if anyone has a better idea i would be glad to here

assuming you enter this to upgrade the system and not some package, it will break your system (in my experience).

correct one for upgrade the system is sudo parrot-upgrade

that’s definitely the only way, the system package is terribly messed up now (you can’t even get a TTY console). maybe it’s possible to chroot into the system from Parrot OS live USB and fix it, but i don’t have something similar to try
