are you trying to install to VM,HDD or persistent pen-drive?
What did you use to burn the iso to your installation pen-drive? Rufus has not been good with Linux for a while now, if you used Rufus, then I suggest you try Ballina- etcher
hdd,you are right i tried it this time with Ballina- etcher and it worked
