I want to install dev-c++ on my parrot machine. I have downloaded it from CNET but don’t know how to install. Please Don’t recommend stuff like wine etc.
do NOT use dev-cpp
it is a very old software that does not follow the c or cpp standard, and t was discontinued something like a decade ago
if you want to develop c or cpp on parrot, try geany (preinstalled) or vscodium (preinstalled), or download codeblocks, qtcreator or another c/cpp ide, but do NOT use dev-cpp, because it is famous to be the WORST software to develop c/cpp yet the most kown one amongst incompetent programmers and highschool teachers
please don’t be a victim of your professor’s incompetence and move to a true development software
