This is not helpful at all. I tested anonsurf in vm many times with the start at boot and i didn’t see anything wrong. So it is more useful to check everythiing i mentioned about instead of “it doesn’t work”
Okay i reprocedured on my system, with latest anonsurf build: the whole system didn’t have internet connection for 1 minute or so because Tor was connecting to Tor network. After that, everything is perfect
if your problem is different, please provide us more information. at least the details widget in anonsurf-gtk is useful enough for us to guess the problem
hello I had the same problem but it does not matter because if we forget to deactivate anonsurf at the end of our session it will be automatically activated and this causes connection bugs so we just have to check if the anonsurf is activated if yes then deactivate it (reactivate it if you want to be anonymous).
In any case, that’s how I solved this problem but I know that this subject is vast
That is the problem of older AnonSurf version and i believe it was fixed (with so many test). When you shut down / reboot your system normally, Anonsurf turns off too and you shouldn’t get any connection errors
