Hey there,
Did you try using different ports on you machine/laptop (if you are using pc try plugging the usb from the back of the case not from the front maybe this is the issue) maybe its a compatibility issue with usb 2.0/3.0.
Try using another usb/cd
Did you try a different distro like ubuntu, fedora…etc?
Maybe try using a different iso writer application like rufus maybe the iso was corrupted in the middle.
