• Parrot version in use (if you are not aware of it, open terminal and type cat /etc/os-release | grep VERSION):

  Parrot Security 6.2 (lorikeet)

• Logs/Terminal output (use pastebin or similar services):
  I trouble shoot many times on this but this not shown to normal release of firefox with ParrotSec, also not shown with firefox-esr on other distros or windows.

Instead of looking in the preferences page, in the search bar type;

about:policies 

and hit return, you will be at the enterprise policy page, you can disable the restriction and then set any home page you prefer as normal.
