No loading after latest full upgrade

*Something happened on last upgrade to 6.0.1
It would not reboot in terminal. Terminal said pkg still unpacking or something to effect.
The desktop reappeared but there were not tool bars or menu apps. Just 3 standard folders on desktop

In terminal we entered sudo systemctl reboot -i

The system reboot. Parrot OS logo briefly flashes, then
small curser appears in upper left corner - . It just flashes. Nothing else.
Have powered off several times. It powers up. Briefly see Parrot OS logo flash by. Then nothing but the small little cursor upper left corner.

Have F12 into bios.
Then into 6.01.0 parrot1 amd64 advance options / recovery mode

It says in recovery mode :
“cannot open access to console the root account is locked see sulogin(8) manpage for details”

“Press enter to continue
13.040787 nouveau 0000:01:00:0 dr, cammpt find any crtc pr sizes
19.132263 ACPI SB PC10. PEGO.VID failed ot evaluate DSM”

Why is it not loading?
I think the drive may be gone. Is it possible to recover?

Appreciate the assistance.

  • ParrotOS iso in use:

  • Application used for flashing the iso:

  • Logs/Terminal output (use pastebin or similar services):

  • Screenshots:

System WILL NOT go to login panel GUI. Just a black screen appears with small blinking cursor, upper left corner.
Holiday assistance appreciated.
