No sound, and no video playing after update...

Hello fellas,

I updated Parrot OS, just now… and I notices there is no sound (not even showing the speaker/headset in the available audio devices) and also none of my local videos are playing… (via VLC and dragon player or any other video software)

System Info:

OS: Parrot Security 6.0 (lorikeet) x86_64
Host: HP ProBook 450 G8
Kernel: 6.1.0-1parrot1-amd64

Commands I tried:

inxi -A
Audio:
Device-1: Intel Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Audio driver: snd_hda_intel
API: ALSA v: k6.1.0-1parrot1-amd64 status: kernel-api
Server-1: PipeWire v: 0.3.65 status: active

Also I have to mention that the “fn” keys for sound (vol raise, vol down, and mic mute/unmute) are also not working…

Hello, maybe you should roll back to the previous version of parrot…

when updating again, it will ask for updating repository, select NO (default)…

Lemme know if it works…
