OpenVas scanner not found after fresh installs - Setup goes through no issues doing check “ERROR: No OpenVAS scanner found”

Based on discussions in this community over the last year, I believe this is a known issue to the Parrot developers. Greenbone has effectively taken over the OpenVAS project and will not assist others trying to get it to run on non-Greenbone distros.
