Parrot os security does not detect my wireless adapter

I have installed Parrot Security 6.3, but my Wi-Fi isn’t working(i cannot see any wifi option). i am running my system using ethernet connection. I have an Intel Wireless 8265/8275 adapter.

  • Parrot version in use (if you are not aware of it, open terminal and type cat /etc/os-release | grep VERSION): :6.3

  • Kernel version (if you are not aware of it, open terminal and type uname -r):
    6.12.12-amd64

Are you running direct on hardware, or in a VM?

Most intel wifi will work out of the box, if your using a VM then the virtual machine will ONLY have a virtual ethernet connection, a VM cannot use the hosts wifi and you need an external wifi adapter for this.
