Parrot repo doesnt exist in .OVA

Briefly describe your issue below:

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list will show:

deb cdrom:[Debian...etc

What version of Parrot are you running? (include version, edition, and architecture)

Parrot latest version with .ova image

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)

importing .ova to vbox

So where is the official repo of parrot?

please read our FAQ

https://www.parrotsec.org/docs/faq/

and our documentation

https://www.parrotsec.org/docs/mirror-list/

/etc/apt/sources.list should be empty, while the parrot repo is located at /etc/apt/sources.list.d/parrot.list

i think you should check that out , because it wasnt empty plus the repo wasnt uncommented in sources.list meaning the user should do that or he will never get updated because of that interruption.

side request , can you allow my account to send comments through email?

Thx!

 cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/parrot.list

You get answer

And yed , leave sources.list empty
So parrot-mirror-selector works

i know and done that already, but its a flaw that hopefully getting fixed in next releases.
