In the journal it said tainted kernel?
I just updated, I know there’s a not so stable version. Could have sworn I installed the stable. Maybe not. I get through my crypt login and crash with nothing but a blinking cursor and this.

Because it’s encrypted, try the passphrase you’ve set while installing

If you meant that you typed but it doesn’t show up then it’s designed the same way for privacy reasons, you can notice after press enter
or if you’re using external keyboard, try with laptop’s keypad, sometimes external might not work until the os boots up.
