Printer setup can’t find the correct driver for a HP Color LaserJet 3600n. HP doesn’t offer a PPD for this model. Linux Mint has no problem finding/installing the correct driver.

  • Parrot version in use (if you are not aware of it, open terminal and type cat /etc/os-release | grep VERSION):

VERSION_ID=“6.0”
VERSION=“6.0 (lorikeet)”
VERSION_CODENAME=lory

  • Kernel version (if you are not aware of it, open terminal and type uname -r):

6.5.0-13parrot1-amd64

that is because Mint has prepared it own package for HP printers, you can compile yourself by…
open menu---- go administration and open---- go Synaptic package manager, click on search, enter HPLIP and enter, you can select what you need [or the easy way is select all ] and install
