do not log in as root

it is very dangerous, it breaks our sandbox configuration and many desktop programs are voluntarily programmed to stop working when executed as root

Use terminal and type alsamixer
Use arrow keys and “m” for unmute the sound source and use mouse scroller for volume up and down
Hoping it will help

Hey @soapmactavish even i faced the same issue which was resolved using apt install libspa-0.2-bluetooth followed by reboot. this will fix the sound issue in root account.
