has anyone else had any luck getting this particular adapter or one with the same chipset to work with parrot OS

    used etcher and dd command from another linux distro

  2. How did you install OS?
    -booted to usb, ran parrot OS live and used the install tool inside
    -installed on bare metal Dell studio xps 9000 12 GB ram on its own harddrive
    i7-920 quad core 2.66 GHz

  3. If your hardware doesn’t work:

doesnt have built in wifi card

I have tried almost every driver github has to download for this particular chipset.
I have successfully gotten the wifi adapter to work on the same pc but with Kali linux and Ubuntu

4. How did you get this error? Are there any steps to procedure it?

git clone the drivers, some simply run: make, sudo make install, sudo reboot
some of the downloads from github go through a dkms process which all look similar to this:

have gotten any errors, have been able to install all the drivers that I have tried on the system just fine the issue is that once they are and I reboot the adapter still isnt being recognized at all
