I had the sound problem in parrot where my speakers didn’t work and i could watch any videos or listen to music which was hard since i tried to use Parrot OS as a daily driver. But i did alot of trying around and i found the solution.
Open the Terminal and write ‘alsamixer’ then press F6 to and choose your sound card.
Then scroll all the way to the right using the “right arrow” key then you can see the
“AUTO-MUT” option, disable it and you are good to go.
