Sound card not recognized

Sound card is not being recognized by Parrot OS.

Have attempted installing the intel firmware via the

following link Debian -- Details of package firmware-intel-sound in sid and have also tried modifying the

boot parameters as described in Help! Sound card cannot be detected

have also tried updating system completely using sudo apt-get update, apt-get upgrade and apt-get dist-upgrade

The sound card is showing up as “pulseaudio” and the output of sudo aplay -l is:

aplay: device_list:274: no soundcards found…
