Suddenly black screen when booting

I successfully installed parrot in virtual box on my Mac. I used it for a day and it worked perfectly fine and next time I wanted to launch it, it just showed a black screen when I was starting it. To resolve the issue I tried to turn off 3D acceleration which works (but screwed up my display configurations). I would like to continue using 3D acceleration though and because it worked before I don’t know why it doesn’t work anymore.

I am using Parrot-security-4.7_virtual (OVA) in Virtual Box 6.0.14 on my Mac Book Pro 2013 running macOS.

What method did you use to install Parrot? - I used import appliance in virtual box to import the OVA file

Configured to multiboot with other systems? - no

Black screen after reboot/shutdown

Hi, after two days of searching forums and other pages Ive decided to ask for help and write down the exact problem Im facing with Parrot. Everything works just fine and smooth within OS except when I want to shut down or reboot the machine. I got the black screen (without white cursor) and I have to use force to shut it down. I tried all advices related to grub file (/etc/default/grub), I also installed new graphic drivers for my integrated graphic card, I tried to shut down/reboot using terminal… Nothing helped - I always get black screen. Bellow ull find basic info. If I need to post more information please let me know. What version of Parrot are you running? Linux parrot 4.15.0-parrot17-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.15.17-1parrot17 (2018-04-22) x86_64 GNU/Linux What method did you use to install Parrot? Standard installation. Configured to multiboot with other systems? (yes / no) Yes. If there are any error messages or relevant logs, post them below: Ive checked /var/log/messages but couldnt get it clear whats wrong (I can paste it here if needed). Ty.
