When i try to update parrot os using sudo apt-get update it shows this

try ping google.com and ping 8.8.8.8 if it is not a problem with your internet connection try to wait 1 day

Your connection is not using IPv4. What does your /etc/resolv.conf file have in it, if it exists?

The Internet works using either the (TCP) IPv4 or the “newer” IPv6 protocol.

I may be wrong, but from what I’ve been seeing in this community since Parrot 5.x came out, AnonSurf has been messing with users’ DNS and IPv4 settings. I am not an expert on Linux networking, so don’t have a solution. But I can give some commands to run to check on stuff that hopefully someone else here can assist you with further.

Is this a Wi-fi connection or are you using Ethernet?

Here are a few commands to enter into a terminal interface (and application probably called "MATE Terminal ").

ip addr

cat /etc/resolv.conf

lsusb

lspci
