Unable to locate packages

I was trying to download something, executing sudo apt install x it says E: Unable to locate package X.
And this happens with everything I want to download via apt install.

  • Parrot version in use VERSION_ID=“6.0”
    VERSION=“6.0 (lorikeet)”
    VERSION_CODENAME=lory

I would do a

sudo parrot upgrade

or

sudo apt update

before installing anything like

sudo apt install htop neofetch inxi cmatrix lynis
