Wifi icon showing with a question mark but not working

Hi,
I connected my wifi adapter, the icon is showing but the wifi is not working.

inxi -N:

Device-3: Realtek RTL8192EU 802.11b/g/n WLAN Adapter type: USB
driver: rtl8xxxu

consider this ss when I connetc the adapter

As you can see the wifi icon is showing with a question mark

It looks like you have an access point set up that isn’t available. Does it display a list of available networks that you can connect to? Alternatively you can manually add your network.
