Wifi not scanning

few days ago my wireless adapter was working fine then due to my exam i havent used my pc for about 10 days mean while the whole mother board is nested by ant then i cleaned all the board after that the pc started working.
i have an intel corporation wireless 3160 newtork adapter and it is detected by the device(by typing ifconfig) but unfortunately it is not or scanning any wifi now i am using ethernet which is working fine.
help me with this problem this has been my headache.

You can install firmware-iwlwifi for intel wireless chipset.
check first
apt search firmware-iwlwifi
then
sudo apt install firmware-iwlwifi
