WiFi problem

Can I do something to fix it?

$sudo airodump-ng wlan0
ioctl(SIOCSIWMODE) failed: Operation not supported
ioctl(SIOCSIWMODE) failed: Operation not supported
Error setting monitor mode on wlan0
Failed initializing wireless card(s): wlan0

and I restart

$sudo service network-manager restart

network (ethernet-cable) is back

Fern wifi see my wlan0 - but nothing happened… if change and select interface ,again wlan0 - kill network manager…
Everything updated, upgraded…

I try again. When select interface (wlan0) - say - problem occured while setting up the monitor mode of selected .

Can be my hardware? Can be my wifi adapter not support monitor mode?
On this pc , when Kali was installed - works well.

                                           Really dont know...

what is the hardware? maybe we use different version of the driver because of a different kernel/device specific reason of some sort
