1. sudo parrot-upgrade
2. wait for downloads to finish and installation to complete
3. seems something weird happened to kde
4. reboot
5. kde gone

I was on Parrot 4.8 and then I updated parrot by running sudo parrot-upgrade after the update was finished KDE was removed and MAte was installed. I would like to know why this also happed before on version 4.6 or 4.7 (can’t recall which one) and now it happened again. I cleared my choice to use KDE when I first downloaded KDE edition of ISO then why does parrot kkeeps removing KDE and install Mate? I don’t want Mate I don’t like it then why after every update it removes it?

now you have to reinstall kde
