4. How did you get this error? Are there any steps to procedure it?
1. sudo parrot-upgrade
2. wait for downloads to finish and installation to complete
3. seems something weird happened to kde
4. reboot
5. kde gone
I was on Parrot 4.8 and then I updated parrot by running sudo parrot-upgrade
after the update was finished KDE was removed and MAte was installed. I would like to know why this also happed before on version 4.6 or 4.7 (can’t recall which one) and now it happened again. I cleared my choice to use KDE when I first downloaded KDE edition of ISO then why does parrot kkeeps removing KDE and install Mate? I don’t want Mate I don’t like it then why after every update it removes it?

4. How did you get this error? Are there any steps to procedure it?
Today saw there was an update and ran Parrot-Upgrade, which removed some packages, including KDE desktop. Re-installed KDE desktop, but having some issues getting back icons.
I think theres also an issue with package, qt5-default, broken package dependencies with libqt5gui5-gles and qtbase5-gles-dev.
GTK theme settings gone in the application style menu
why did these packages get removed?
I tried using different themes, icon set, deleted icon cache, still doesn’t come up.
